Hi! My name is Alana Green, and I'm a professional designer, illustrator, and creative consultant. I've worked with esteemed organizations such as the Westchester County Government and independent animation studios to create graphics and visuals that engage and excite. It is my firm belief that even the most mundane of things ought to be designed thoughtfully and considered with empathy, because it is those mundane things that are most common- and therefore should be considered with utmost importance. 

My experience begins with storytelling. Throughout my education and early career, I've worked with art directors to create concept art and storyboards for independent animation studios and projects. My experience with storytelling for entertainment has given me a unique perspective on graphic and web design. The golden rule for both is the same- story above all. The best designs are seamless just as a good story is, and the visuals support and weave into the structure of a story just as a the the flow of a web design or the visual hierarchy of a design is supported by color, form, and typography.
